Why do I like Sachin Tendulkar?

As mentioned in my earlier posts, I am a die-hard of Sachin Tendulkar. I admire him not only for his talent but also for his humility and character. One thing in the world which can make me get excited instantly is a good knock by Sachin. I started watching cricket when I was in 1st std. At that time, even Ganguly and Dravid were not there in the team. Sachin Tendulkar was the only match-winner and people used to switch off the television sets once Sachin got out (even now, I do that... ;) ) .
Whenever I think about Sachin, one innings which immediately comes to my mind is his 75 ball 98 against Pakistan in 2003 world cup. He played a wonderful despite a leg injury. That innings clearly proves that HE IS NOT SELFISH.
And I like whatever he does. I get excited even when he bowls. And when I think about his bowling, one thing comes to my mind is the moment when he bowled out Moin khan in the last delivery of the day's play in Multan test,2004. Wow! I could'nt believe my eyes. That can also be stated as one of the turning points of the match! here's the video:

I seriously wonder how people can hate and talk ill about a person whom they had loved the most once upon a time. Probably, those people will have short-term memory loss. Also some say that India loses whenever Sachin hits a ton. How foolish!!! Cricket is played by a team of 11 players. If other players fail, it is not Sachin's fault.
Recently, I found a website which gives clear-cut evidences to prove that the critics of Sachin are wrong. A great website! Here's the link: http://www.sachinandcritics.com/index.php
Also, here's another which tells why Sachin is the greatest cricketer of all time. http://www.orkut.co.in/CommMsgs.aspx?cmm=23803&tid=2523809526456328102
The statements of the critics don't matter at all. He has got the most number of records. Some are born to break the records. But, records are born to be broken by Sachin. There may arise a situation many years later when Sachin's records will be broken by someone else. It may happen. That person will realise how difficult it is to achieve such a feat. There lies Sachin's greatness...

Copy cat Harris Jeyaraj

Watch this hilarious interview of Harris. Harris, total damage :P
The person who uploaded this video in youtube deserves a pat on his back!
PS: This is not an original video. It is an edited one...

Harris' songs are monotonous. Though his fans may not accept this, this is the fact. Here's the proof for it:

1.Ghajini - vettayadu vilayadu - bheema similarities

2.Kaaka kaaka - varanam ayiram similarities

Ideal citizen

To begin with, let me post a poem written by me during my 8th std. Since this is my first poem, it always remains close to my heart...

IDEAL CITIZEN

"We are Indians", we say
Each and every day,
But, what have we done for the nation?
It's the million dollar question!

Greater one is nation's prosperity
Than our own property!
Many hands make the work light,
And that is always right!

Work hard and never stop,
Till the country becomes top!
Build a better nation
And be an ideal citizen!

Hi!

I thought it is better to start my blog today coz today happens to be my b'day! September 10!!! This is the day when the quarterly exams usually begin in schools. So, on my every b'day, I used to have exam during my school days... But I have never really felt for it... Now, I am in college. I thought that I can enjoy my b'days here after. But what to do? Now, I have internals instead.Today, I had two internals. Those 2 were the subjects in which I had scored low marks last time :( . I sincerely prayed that I should do well today. Thank God! I did them better than last time. :)
Coming to my interests, I like listening to music and Im a die-hard fan of A.R.Rahman. He is the one who revolutionised the Indian music and definitely there is some magic in his music. His songs are like slow poison and they keep haunting me. :)
I love to watch cricket, especially when Sachin Tendulkar bats. Obviously, he is my favourite cricketer. I think he is an all-time great cricketer and he can be rated next only to Sir Don Bradman...
I have found many similarities between Sachin and Rahman. The most important one being their humility. I wonder whether their greatness gives them humility or their humility makes them even greater. Both started their career in the early 90's and they have been role models to a lot of youngsters. I am proud to be their fan.... :)
